At the time of the 2006 National Census, the rural district's population was 2,782 in 757 households. [6] There were 2,549 inhabitants in 796 households at the following census of 2011. [7] The 2016 census measured the population of the rural district as 2,478 in 836 households. The most populous of its 20 villages was Eskolak, with 707 people. [2]
