Rod MacSween is the founder and CEO of International Talent Booking (ITB). [1] He was known for bringing artists such as: The Who, Pink Floyd and Robert Plant’s Band of Joy to the University of Exeter. [1] While studying there, in 1969, he was elected social secretary of the Students Guild. [2]

Biography

MacSween was born in Southampton, England to parents were both academics. [3]

Recognition

In 2015, MacSween received a Classic Rock Roll of Honor (VIP) Award. [4] [5] In 2019 the academic institution awarded him with an honorary doctorate degree for his contribution to the music world. [6] Other artists he has represented over the years include: Aerosmith, Black Sabbath, [7] Bon Jovi (and KISS), [8] Def Leppard, [5] Guns N' Roses, [9] Lenny Kravitz, [10] Maroon 5, [11] Ozzy Osbourne, [3] Pearl Jam, [12] The Scorpions, [13] Tool [14] and The Who.
