Rezaul Karim Reza ( Bengali: রেজাউল করিম রেজা; born 1 July 1987) [1] is a Bangladeshi professional footballer who plays as a centre-back. He represented the Bangladesh national team between 2010 and 2021. [2] [3] [4] Due to his versatility, he can also play as a left-back. [5] [6] He most recently played for Dhaka Abahani.

In July 2016, he was appointed as the national team's captain. He led Bangladesh during a friendly against UAE and also during the 2018 FIFA World Cup qualification – AFC second round fixture against Jordan. [7] [8] [9] [10]
