Excuse me, but bombs don't "attempt" anything. This news flash should begin with the fact: "A car bomb explodes..." Wait till the second sentence to report speculation about the motives of the bombers, please. -- Uncle Ed 14:23, 2 Sep 2003 (UTC)
Is the US-Canada blackout of now a month ago still considered an ongoing event? I understand that no final statements as to the exact cause have been released, but news on the subject has died down to virtually nothing. Is it safe to remove it from the sidebar then?
