Wrote article on Natalia Zhukova

I wrote an article on Natalia Zhukova earlier today, as I saw this was requested. Impressive career! She is identified under Natalia Zhukova (chess player), since I believe there are other people of the same name.

Thanks. That is on the Wikipedia:WikiProject_Chess most wanted. You did spell the surname in lower case but that is easy to resolve. Now Natalia Zhukova. ChessCreator ( talk) 02:19, 22 February 2008 (UTC) reply

The audio recording of the article "Chess"

I have re-recorded the audio for the article chess so the audio now matches the text of the article, this is a replacement of my prior reading, literally from five years ago, September 26, 2006. (Oh, all right, four years, 11 months and two weeks if you want to be technical about it! :) ) The audio version is equivalent to the text version as of September 14, 2011.

What's also amazing is the sheer length of the article. My prior reading took 32 minutes. This reading took one hour and ten seconds. This implies the article has doubled in size and scope over the previous five years. Paul Robinson (Rfc1394) ( talk) 22:27, 16 September 2011 (UTC) reply

All issues of "Wiener Schachzeitung" now online!

All issues of the historic "Wiener Schachzeitung" (Viennese chess newspaper) are now online, courtesy of the National Library of Austria. Time for an article, no?

proposal about alekhine-capablanca rematch controversy

There is a widely debated topic on chess history, it is not clear whether it is based on facts or rumours/speculations. the topic is: "Alekhine-Capablanca world championship rematch." Some believe Alekhine avoided Capablanca and some believe contrary, ALekhine gave him a chance but Capa did not use it. can wikipedia enlighten all of us on this matter? p.s: I am not good at wikipedia, I cant add references and e.t.c. -- Sir artur ( talk) 19:53, 5 February 2016 (UTC) reply
