A Tongkonan is the traditional dwelling of the Toraja people in central Sulawesi. The construction of a tongkonan is a laborious work in which usually all members of a family, including extended ones, are involved.

Mendut is a Buddhist temple in Central Java province of Indonesia, and together with other two Buddhist temples ( Borobudur and Pawon) are located in one straight line. At each year, Buddhist in Indonesia celebrates Vesak by walking from Mendut through Pawon and is ended at Borobudur, the ritual of which was believed to have been performed since the ninth century, according to Nagarakretagama book.
