Rory Peck (born December 13, 1956 – died October 3, 1993) was a freelance
war cameraman of Anglo-Irish origin, who was killed while covering the events of the
Russian constitutional crisis of 1993. He was shot dead by members of the "Vitez" special forces unit of the Russian Interior Ministry while filming the storming by opposition supporters of the Ostankino TV Centre in
Moscow.
