Popular News Journal ( Burmese: ပေါ်ပြူလာဂျာနယ်) is a Burmese weekly newspaper, publication of Asian Fame Media Group, based in Yangon, Myanmar. The journal has been published in Myanmar since January 29, 2009, and has become one of the longstanding media outlets in the country.

Popular News is owned by Nan Kalyar Win, the daughter of General Win Myint, a confidant of former military dictator Than Shwe. Thanks to her family background, she secured an interview with Senior General Min Aung Hlaing just before the 2020 general election. The military chief hinted at doubts about the integrity of the poll and alleged shortcomings in election preparations. [1]

In the aftermath of the 2021 Myanmar coup d'état, Popular News focuses on junta-related news while ignoring the resistance movement.
