Peter Williams CBE (born 20 April 1948) is the former Chief Executive of the Quality Assurance Agency for Higher Education (QAA), [1] and the current Honorary President of the British Accreditation Council for Independent Further and Higher Education (BAC). He was given a CBE for his services to higher education in 2009. [2] [3]
Peter Williams attended the City of Oxford High School for Boys and has a degree in English from the University of Exeter. [4]
