Pavlo Oleksandrovych Kyrylenko ( Ukrainian: Павло Олександрович Кириленко; born 5 May 1986 [3]) is a Ukrainian prosecutor and politician. [4] He has served as head of the Ukrainian Anti-Monopoly Committee since September 2023. [5]
Kyrylenko is a former Governor of Donetsk Oblast. [6] Under martial law during the 2022 Russian invasion of Ukraine, Kyrylenko served as the Head of the Donetsk Regional Military Administration from July 2019 to September 2023. [2] [1]
In 2008, he graduated from the Yaroslav Mudryi National Law University. [7] In July 2008, he was employed at the Prosecutor's Office of Ukraine. [8] From September 2017 to July 2019, Kyrylenko was the military prosecutor of the Uzhhorod garrison in the Western region. [8]
Kyrylenko was appointed by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy as Governor of Donetsk Oblast on 5 July 2019. [1] [6] On 5 September 2023 he was relieved of this function. [2]
On 6 September 2023 the Verkhovna Rada (the Ukrainian parliament) appointed Kyrylenko as the head of the Ukrainian Anti-Monopoly Committee. [5]
Kyrylenko is a Lieutenant Colonel of Justice. [8]
