Distributed in East Asia region, from the northeast at South Korea, [1] [8] down to the Taiwan and Kinmen (Quemoy) around the Taiwan Strait [1] [3] [6] [9] and also in Hong Kong. [5] [10] [11]
The shell lives in intertidal area, [4] sometimes attached to sand basal or on top of rocks or shells inside calm sea bay. [1]
