Parak ( Persian: پرك) [a] is a village in, and the capital of, Taheri Rural District of Siraf District of Kangan County, Bushehr province, Iran. [4] The previous capital of the rural district was the village of Taheri [5] (now the city of Bandar Siraf). [6]

At the 2006 census, its population was 2,088 in 405 households, when it was in the Central District. [7] The following census in 2011 counted 2,955 people in 707 households. [8] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 3,582 people in 885 households. [2]

In 2017, the rural district and the city of Bandar Siraf were separated from the district in the establishment of Siraf District, which was divided into two rural districts. [4]
