The company was founded by Tariq Krim and Florent Frémont in 2005. [1] In August 2006, Netvibes closed a funding round of €12 million led by Accel Partners in London along with Index Ventures. Since May 2008, Freddy Mini is the Chief Executive Officer of Netvibes. On February 9, 2012 Dassault Systèmes announced [2] the acquisition of Netvibes for an undisclosed amount.
