Born in London, Butler-Oyedeji joined Arsenal at the age of 8, [2] turning professional in 2021. [3] He spent time training with the Arsenal first team, [4] [5] before moving on loan to Accrington Stanley in January 2023. [6]
On September 1 2023, he signed with EFL League One club Cheltenham Town on a season-long loan. [7]
