Nalivan ( Persian: نليوان) [a] is a village in, and the capital of, Oshnavieh-ye Shomali Rural District of the Central District of Oshnavieh County, West Azerbaijan province, Iran. It was formerly the capital of Dasht-e Bil Rural District until the capital was transferred to the village of Agh Bolagh. [4]
At the 2006 National Census, its population was 878 in 145 households. [5] The following census in 2011 counted 1,040 people in 234 households. [6] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 1,186 people in 302 households. It was the most populous village in its rural district. [2]
