Naal (Nal) ( Urdu ںال) is the largest tehsil of Khuzdar District of Balochistan, Pakistan with an estimated area of 4,413 km2 [2] Naal is located in the Khuzdar District of Balochistan, Kalat Division. An ancient archaeological site is located at Naal town in Naal Tehsil. [3] [4] [5] [6]
An important archaeological site Sohr Damb is located nearby. It is pre-historic site dating back 3800 to 2000 BC. [7] There have been multiple rounds of excavations in the region. [8] The excavations has taken place in different periods, for instance, Harold Hargreaves led an excavation party in 1924 [9]
Prominent personalities of Naal include Mir Ghous Buksh Bizenjo, [10] [11] Mir Hasil Khan Bizenjo, [12] [13] [14] and Sardar Muhammad Aslam Bizenjo.
The main source of income in the valley is through livestock, agriculture, and mining [15]
