Myra H. Strober (born c. 1940) is professor of education, emerita, for the school of education, at Stanford Graduate School of Business, Stanford, California, US. [1] She also sits on the editorial board of Feminist Economics, [2] and was the president of the International Association for Feminist Economics (IAFFE) from 1997 to 1999. [3]
Myra Strober received her degree from Cornell University School of Industrial and Labor Relations in 1962. In 1965 she gained a masters in economics from Tufts University. Her economics doctorate came from MIT in 1969. [4]
Strober was married to fellow Stanford University School of Medicine professor Samuel Strober, and the two had two children. [5] She then married psychiatrist Jay M. Jackman until his death in January 2022. [6]
