The Municipality of Ljutomer (pronounced [ˈljuːtɔmɛɾ] ⓘ; Slovene: Občina Ljutomer) is a municipality in northeastern Slovenia, some 40 kilometers (25 mi) east of Maribor. Traditionally it was part of the region of Styria. It is now included in the Mura Statistical Region. [2] Its largest settlement and the administrative seat is Ljutomer.
Geography
The municipality includes Ljutomer Ponds–Jeruzalem Hills Nature Park ( Slovene: Krajinski park Ljutomerski ribniki – Jeruzalemske gorice), which covers 1,346 hectares (3,330 acres). [3]
