Monroe Middle School is located in San Jose, California and is part of the Campbell Union School District. Monroe is a California Distinguished School.


Activities

Sports Monroe has a total of six different after school sports: Basketball, Soccer, Wrestling, Volleyball, Track and Field, and Cross Country. The Mavericks are in the West Valley Athletic League with nine other schools.

  • 2009 8th Grade Boy's Soccer League Champions
  • 2007 7th Grade Girl's Basketball League Champions

Bands Mr. Ari Brown is the Music Director, and teaches Beginning, Intermediate, and Advanced Bands.
In Spring 2009, the Advanced Band earned a high achievement award at the CMEA Festival (California Music Educator's Association).
