Monika Jaworska (21 February 1968 – 4 January 2022) was a Polish journalist.
From 1983 to 1987 she attended the W. Broniewski High School in Krosno Odrzańskie.
She graduated from the University of Wrocław.
She started her radio career in 1995 at Radio Wrocław. [1] She was the host of "Bieg przez plotki, and created the radio novella "Manuel's Strange Fate. [2]
After 1995, she also collaborated with Phoenix Press Media on the publication of "Z życia przyjte", "Sukcesy i fail", "Czas na relaks".
Since 2000, Monika Jaworska was a co-founder of Radio RAM in Wrocław. On 6 December 2000, she hosted her first morning show with Wojciech Lorenz. [3] Between 2001 and 2004, she co-hosted "RAM rano" with Paweł Gołębski. [4] In Radio Wrocław, she co-hosted the daily "Radio Review of TV Channels" with Wacław Sondej. Since 2013, she has been the host of "Dzień dobry we Wrocław" (Good Morning Wrocław) on Radio RAM. She was the announcer of charity concerts for animals, "Maids from Good Homes". During the Stage Song Review, she presented the Radio RAM Award. [5]
Between 2001 and 2005, Monika Jaworska moderated one of the first online chat rooms for listeners in Poland – "RAM-Chat". [6] From the beginning of her radio career, she focused on direct contact with listeners. She organized social gatherings, karaoke parties, radio Guinness World Records, picnics, cruises and concerts for them. [2]
On 21 February 2023, the name of Monika Jaworska was given to the Wrocław Moderus Gamma tram with the rolling stock number 3321
