From 2012 to 2017, he was the Secretary of the Personal Representative of Qatar's Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani. [4]
From 2018 until 2021, Al Thani served as Deputy-Governor and Vice-Chairman of Qatar Central Bank and Deputy Chairman of the QFC Regulatory Authority. [1] [5] Between November 2018 and October 2021, he was Chairman of the Qatar Financial Markets Authority. [1]
