Millie Aviles Moux known as Millie Aviles; is a Puerto Rican Actress, Model, Singer, Songwriter, Writer, and Producer. She is better known as a lead star actress from the golden era of telenovelas in Puerto Rico.

Millie Aviles was the female lead star, acting alongside with male lead star Braulio Castillo, hijo, in three Soap Operas named "Alejandra", "Andrea", and "Pacto de Amor" produced by TELEMUNDO Channel 2 of Puerto Rico. [1] She also acted in the Soap Operas " Diana Carolina", and "El Angel Del Barrio" produced by WAPA-TV, Channel 4 of Puerto Rico in Co-Production with VENEVISION, Channel 4 of Venezuela ; "Poquita Cosa"; "Vivir Para Ti"; "Yo Se Que Mentia", produced by WAPA-TV Channel 4 of Puerto Rico. "Pasion De Vivir" Co-produced by TV- Channel 5 of Spain, and Independent Producers of Puerto Rico; "Preciosa", (Characterization of a blind girl), and "Cadenas De Amor", (Characterization of an alcohol substance abuser), produced by TELEMUNDO, Channel 2 of Puerto Rico; "La Casa De Enfrente" in PANAMERICANA DE TELEVISIÓN, Channel 5 of Peru.

In her versatile career, Millie Avilés, in addition, has featured in comedies (Sitcom), Theater, Film, Concerts, Musical Shows, and Special Shows. Some of them: "La Resentida"; "El Impromptu de San Juan"; Los Diez Mandanientos"; "Salvemos Los Delfines"; "Steel Magnolia", Dulce Cascabeles De La Muerte"; "Los Lucas"; "El Beauty", "Todo el Año es Navidad; "La Boda"; "Sunshine's Café"; "A Millon"; Parejo, Doble y Triple"; " En Casa De Juanma Roman"; "Super Sabados"; "Estudio Alegre"; Conexion Caribe"; "Domingo En Grande", (Musical Show Channel 4 of Dominican Republic); "Entre Tu Y Yo", (Concert Presented in The Center For The Fine Arts Of SanJuan), among others.

Millie Avilés has received numerous Professional Awards in recognition for her contributions to the Arts of Puerto Rico. She has been Awarded Best Actress, by the Superior Council of Arts of Puerto Rico. Millie Aviles has received excellent notorious critics for her performances. In all the work in which she has participated she has obtained Firts Place Ratings.


Singing career

Aviles has a single, named "Yo no se Porque" ("I Don't Know Why"), [2] which was the theme song of her soap opera, "Alejandra". The song was featured on her album “Como Tú” and it became a radio hit in Puerto Rico, reaching the top ten single chart, and "Amor Marcado" which was the theme song of her soap opera "Andrea". Millie Aviles, also, was the Executive Producer/Artistic Producer of her first Album "Como Tú ", and her second Album "Frágil Seduction", which include the song "Frágil", another radio hit in Puerto Rico.

Personal

Aviles' sister is actress Maricarmen Aviles. [3] Millie Aviles has been romantically linked to Actor Braulio Castillo, Jr, producer Jorge Rojas, musical producer Edgardo Diaz (director of boy band Menudo), and journalist Javier Elias. [4] Aviles lives in the United States.

In popular culture

Aviles is played by Amanda Rivera Torres in the Amazon Prime Video miniseries based on the success of Menudo, " Subete a mi moto". [5]
