Mercurialis /mərˌkjʊəriˈælɪs/ is a genus of plants in the family Euphorbiaceae, the spurges, known commonly as the mercuries. These are slender herbs ( forbs), rhizomatious perennials and woody perennials, native to Europe, North Africa, and Asia. [3] [4] [5]
