Mehdiabad ( Persian: مهدي اباد) [a] is a village in, and the capital of, Miyan Ab-e Shomali Rural District of Miyan Ab District, Shushtar County, Khuzestan province, Iran. [4]
At the 2006 National Census, its population was 1,736 in 378 households, when it was in the Central District. [5] The following census in 2011 counted 1,734 people in 445 households. [6] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 1,726 people in 488 households, [2] by which time the rural district had separated from the district in the establishment of Miyan Ab District. [7]
