Martina Fuchs (born 1983) is a Swiss television presenter, journalist and speaker. [1] She is a former business correspondent for CGTN in Beijing, Reuters in Dubai and CNNMoney Switzerland. [2] She works as a business journalist for Xinhua. [3]
Fuchs studied television journalism at the Kamal Adham Center for Television and Digital Journalism at the American University in Cairo. [4]
Fuchs started her career in journalism in 2008 when she joined Reuters in London.[ citation needed] She left Reuters in 2012 to be a business reporter for CGTN. Fuchs hosted a documentary series for CCTV-2, traveling with a Chinese team to Pakistan, Laos, Nepal, Turkey and interviewed several influential individuals. [5] In 2019, Fuchs became an international advisor to the St. Gallen Symposium and was awarded 'Leader of Tomorrow' by the organization. [6] In 2017, she joined CNNMoney Switzerland and hosted a 3-hour daily live show "The Swiss Pulse". [7]
She spoke at The Condé Nast College of Fashion & Design, Montreux Jazz Festival, St. Gallen Symposium and State of Asia 2023 of Asia Society Switzerland. [8] [9] [10]
