Marko Hussein Farji (born 16 March 2004) is a professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Eliteserien side Strømsgodset. [1] Born in Norway, he represents Iraq at youth level.
From Grimstad, [2] [3] he was born to Iraqi parents from Sulaymaniyah, he moved with his family to Gulskogen in the summer of 2020. [4] He played into 2021 for FK Jerv. [5]
He made his senior debut for Strømsgodset in 2022 in the quarter final of the Norwegian Cup against Sandnes Ulf. [4] He signed a professional contract with the club aged 18 years-old in January 2023. [6] He scored his first league goal in the Eliteserien on 5 November 2023 in a 1-0 win against Tromsø IL. [7] [3]
