Stewart played for Stewart's College FP. [2]
Provincial career
He played for Edinburgh District in the 1931 inter-city match. [3]
International career
He was capped nine times for Scotland in the period 1932–34. [4]
Administrative career
He became the 80th President of the Scottish Rugby Union. He served the standard one year from 1966 to 1967. [5]
