Malekut ( Persian: ملكوت) [a] is a village in, and the capital of, Somam Rural District [4] of Rankuh District, Amlash County, Gilan province, Iran.
At the time of the 2006 National Census, the village's population was 397 residents in 101 households. [5] The following census in 2011 counted 365 people in 106 households. [6] The 2016 census measured the population of the village as 374 people in 126 households. [2]
