Madevan ( Persian: مادوان) [a] is a village in, and the capital of, Fasarud Rural District of Fasarud District, Darab County, Fars province, Iran. [4]
At the time of the 2006 National Census, the village's population was 1,724 in 427 households, when it was in the Central District. [5] The following census in 2011 counted 1,694 people in 469 households. [6] The 2016 census measured the population of the village as 1,488 people in 467 households. It was the most populous village in its rural district. [2]
After the census, Fasarud and Paskhan Rural Districts were separated from the district in the establishment of Fasarud District. [7]
