University of North Carolina at Greensboro is a public institution located in
Greensboro, North Carolina . Following is a list of notable alumni from the
University of North Carolina at Greensboro . The university was known as the State Normal and Industrial School from 1891 to 1896, the State Normal and Industrial College from 1896 to 1919, the North Carolina College for Women from 1919 to 1932, and the Woman's College of the University of North Carolina from 1932 to 1963.
