Larijan ( Persian: لاريجان) [a] is a village in Garamduz-e Gharbi Rural District of Garamduz District, Khoda Afarin County, East Azerbaijan province, Iran. It serves as capital of both the district [4] and the rural district. [5]
At the time of the 2006 National Census, the village's population was 964 in 230 households, when it was in the former Garamduz Rural District of Khoda Afarin District, Kaleybar County. [6] The following census in 2011 counted 1,156 people in 305 households, [7] by which time the district had been separated from the county in the establishment of Khoda Afarin County. [4] The 2016 census measured the population of the village as 1,094 people in 335 households. It was the most populous village in its rural district. [2]
