Kuik-e Mahmud ( Persian: كوئيك محمود) [a] was a village in Dasht-e Zahab Rural District of Dasht-e Zahab District, Sarpol-e Zahab County, Kermanshah province, Iran.
At the time of the 2006 National Census, the village's population was 202 in 36 households, when it was in the Central District. [4] The following census in 2011 counted 216 people in 52 households. [5] The 2016 census measured the population of the village as 222 people in 56 households. [2]
After the 2016 census, Dasht-e Zahab, Jeygaran, Posht Tang, and Sarqaleh Rural Districts were separated from the Central District in the establishment of Dasht-e Zahab District. In addition, the villages of Kuik-e Azizi Amin, Kuik-e Hasan, Kuik-e Mahmud, and Kuik-e Majid merged to form the village of Kuik, which became the capital of the new district. [6]
