Kozhevnikovsky District ( Russian: Коже́вниковский райо́н) is an administrative [1] and municipal [5] district ( raion), one of the sixteen in Tomsk Oblast, Russia. It is located in the southeast of the oblast. The area of the district is 3,907.5 square kilometers (1,508.7 sq mi). [2] Its administrative center is the rural locality (a selo) of Kozhevnikovo. [1] Population: 20,967 ( 2010 Census); [3] 22,582 ( 2002 Census); [7] 24,535 ( 1989 Soviet census). [8] The population of Kozhevnikovo accounts for 39.0% of the district's total population. [3]
