Kolla Sumanth (born 24 April 1992) is an Indian first-class cricketer who plays for Hyderabad. [1] He made his Twenty20 debut on 2 January 2016 in the 2015–16 Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy. [2]
He was named as the player of the tournament in the 2017 Buchi Babu Tournament for scoring 345 runs, the highest in the tournament. [3] On 25 November 2017, Kolla Sumanth captained Hyderabad in their last group match in 2017-18 Ranji Trophy. [4] In January 2020, in the 2019–20 Ranji Trophy match against Kerala, he scored his maiden century in first-class cricket. [5]
