Kavitha Bhatia is an Indian-American physician who is the president and chair of the Prime Healthcare Foundation. [1] [2]
Bhatia holds a master's degree in Healthcare Administration/Management from USC Marshall School of Business and a Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree from David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA. [3] She is board-certified in pediatrics. [4]
Bhatia currently serves as the president and chair of the Prime Healthcare Foundation. [5] [6] [7] She is also the Chief Medical Officer of Strategy for Prime Healthcare [8] and an associate professor of Medical Education at the California University of Science and Medicine (CUSM). [9]
Bhatia serves on the Board of Directors of the California Hospital Association and the Federation of American Hospitals. [10] She is a Founding Vice Chair of the board of trustees at the California University of Science and Medicine (CUSM). [11]
During the COVID-19 pandemic, [12] Bhatia served as the chair of Prime Healthcare's National COVID Committee and COVID 24/7 Command Center. [13]
