Joseph Hugh Poujade (October 6, 1852 - April 24, 1930) was a lawyer and politician in the United States. He served as a state legislator and lieutenant governor in Nevada. [1]
Theodore Poujade was his father and Marguerite Cosgrove his mother. [2] He was born in Oregon Territory. [1] [3] He moved with his family to Nevada. He served as President pro tempore of the Nevada Senate. [1]
He was elected mayor of Carson, Nevada. [4] In 1891 and 1893 he was president of the Nevada Senate. [5]
