Jonathan P. Folsom (October 9, 1820 – February 23, 1893) served as the twentieth Mayor of Lowell, Massachusetts.
Folsom was, for many years, [3] involved in the dry goods trade. [3] Folsom had a dry goods store [3] on Merrimack Street, in Lowell. [3]
Folsom was a director of the Old Lowell National Bank, [1] and a Trustee of the Central Savings Bank. [1]
Folsom was a member of the Lowell Common Council, [2] Board of Aldermen, [2] and was twice elected the mayor of Lowell. [2]
After he was mayor Folsom served two terms in the Massachusetts legislature [1] as a member of the Massachusetts House of Representatives. [1]
