John Noel Hillier (born 1944) is a former athlete who represented both England and Great Britain. ^[2] John threw a PB of 59.76m on the 27th of July, 1976, in Edinburgh, Scotland. ^[3]

John is currently an athletics coach, and has coached the likes of Myrtle Augee, ^[4] Lawrence Okoye, ^[5] Shaunagh Brown ^[6] & Nicholas Percy. ^[7]

John currently coaches a large number of athletes across a wide range of ages, currently the likes of Cleo Agyepong, ^[8] Brydon Duncan ^[9] and Timi Babatunde ^[10] are under his guidance.

Athletics career

He represented England and won a bronze medal in the discus event, at the 1974 British Commonwealth Games in Christchurch, New Zealand. ^{[11] [12]} Four years later he represented England in the discus event, at the 1978 Commonwealth Games in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. ^{[13] [14]}
