Jereh Rural District ( Persian: دهستان جره) is in Rud Zard District of Ramhormoz County, Khuzestan province, Iran. It is administered from the city of Rud Zard-e Mashin. [3]
After the 2011 National Census, Abolfares and Soltanabad Rural Districts were separated from the Central District in the establishment of Abolfares District, Rud Zard District, and Soltanabad District, each with two rural districts and no cities at the time. [3]
At the most recent census of 2016, the population of the rural district was 2,898 in 748 households. The most populous of its 13 villages was Rud Zard-e Mashin (now a city), [4] [5] with 2,252 people. [2]
