Jean Vassieux (31 October 1949 – 29 December 2021) was a French ice hockey player.
Vassieux played as a forward. [1] He was a member of the French national team and participated in the Ice Hockey World Championships in 1978 and 1979. He was a team captain from 1976 to 1979. [2] He played professionally for Ours de Villard-de-Lans [3] and was awarded the Albert Hassler Trophy in 1978. In 2013, he was inducted into the French Ice Hockey Hall of Fame. [4] He died on 29 December 2021, at the age of 72. [5] [6]
