Jacob Manu (born January 4, 2003) [1] is an American football linebacker for the Arizona Wildcats.
Manu attended high school at Servite located in Anaheim, California. [2] Coming out of high school, Manu was rated as a three star recruit, where he decided to commit to play college football for the Arizona Wildcats. [3] [4]
In week twelve of the 2022 season, Manu was named the PAC-12 freshman of the week after notching ten tackles and a pass deflection in an upset win over #12 UCLA. [5] During the 2022 season, Manu totaled 54 tackles, with four being for a loss, a sack, and a pass deflection. [6] [7] Heading into the 2023 season, Manu was named one of the team captains for the Wildcats season. [8] In the 2023 season, Manu had a breakout season notching 116 tackles, with nine and a half being for a loss, six and a half sacks, and an interception, en route to being named first team all PAC-12.
