The Islamic State – India Province ( Arabic: الدولة الإسلامية – ولاية الهند, romanized: ad-Dawlah al-Islāmīyah – Wilāyat al-Hind; ISHP) is the Indian branch of the Islamic State.

History

While Islamic State activities in South Asia were initially under ISKP, the Islamic State later announced the creation of the India Province in May 2019 on Amaq News Agency. The ISHP is responsible for Islamic State activities in India, including Indian-controlled Kashmir. Although ISHP is active in Kashmir, it is a separate group from ISJK, an unrecognised faction. ISHP was involved in many attacks against Indian authorities. [1] [2] [3] [4] [5]
