Iraj ( Persian: ايرج) [a] is a village in, and the capital of, Ruin Rural District of the Central District of Esfarayen County, North Khorasan province, Iran. [4]

Demographics

Population

At the time of the 2006 National Census, the village's population was 1,506 in 366 households. [5] The following census in 2011 counted 1,594 people in 424 households. [6] The 2016 census measured the population of the village as 1,421 people in 431 households. [2]
