Involvulus is a genus of leaf and bud weevils in the beetle family Attelabidae. There are more than 40 described species in Involvulus. [1] [2] [3] The genus was first described in 1798 by Franz von Paula Schrank who specified the type species as Involvulus metallicus which is considered to be Involvulus cupreus. [4]
