Immensee railway station ( German: Bahnhof Immensee) is a railway station in the municipality of Küssnacht, in the Swiss canton of Schwyz. It located at the junction of three standard gauge lines of Swiss Federal Railways: the Gotthard, Lucerne–Immensee, and Rapperswil–Immensee. [1]

Layout

Immensee has three platforms serving four tracks, numbered 1–4. The platform nearest the station building ( Swiss Standard German: Hausperron) is 70 metres (230 ft) long. Next to that platform is a 119-metre (390 ft) intermediate platform ( Swiss Standard German: Zwischenperron), serving one track. Finally, there is a 199-metre (653 ft) island platform serving two tracks. [5]
