Hesar Rural District ( Persian: دهستان حصار) is in Khabushan District of Faruj County, North Khorasan province, Iran. Its capital is the village of Hesar Andaf. [3]

Demographics

Population

At the time of the 2006 National Census, the rural district's population was 5,476 in 1,508 households. [4] There were 5,228 inhabitants in 1,654 households at the following census of 2011. [5] The 2016 census measured the population of the rural district as 4,957 in 1,623 households. The most populous of its 17 villages was Yam, with 1,328 people. [2]
