Hazara Quami Mahaz Pakistan (HQM) is a political organization established by the late Muhammad Asif Malik in 1987 [1] [2] [3] The primary objective of HQM is to advocate for the creation of a separate Hazara province, addressing the socio-economic and political rights of the Hazarewal people [4] [5] Malik was the first to coin the term “Hazarewal,” uniting the region's residents regardless of ethnicity, caste, or creed. [6]
