The Hédi Enneifer stadium is a stadium in Bardo, Tunisia, in the suburbs of Tunis. [1] It hosts matches of Stade Tunisien. The stadium is located within the club's sports complex, a youth training center which has natural and synthetic turf annexes.

History

At the end of the 1980s, Hédi Enneifer, the president of Stade Tunisien, took the initiative of acquiring land with an area of ten hectares in Bardo, the club's emblematic town and former Beylical residence, for the benefit of the club. He decided to build a sports complex there including a football training center and a large stadium specific to the club. However, the work lasted thirty years due to numerous interruptions linked to administrative and financial problems. Finally, the work was completed in 2011, and the club management inaugurated the new stadium with a meeting between Stade Tunisien and CS Sfaxien 1–0.
