Nogat [ˈnɔɡat] is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Łasin, within Grudziądz County, Kuyavian-Pomeranian Voivodeship, in north-central Poland. [1] It lies approximately 8 kilometres (5 mi) north of Łasin, 22 km (14 mi) north-east of Grudziądz, and 69 km (43 mi) north-east of Toruń.

History

During the German occupation of Poland ( World War II), Nogat was one of the sites of executions of Poles, carried out by the Germans in 1939 as part of the Intelligenzaktion. [2]
