Samuel Aldegheri (born September 19, 2001) is an Italian professional baseball pitcher in the Philadelphia Phillies organization.
Aldegheri played for the Parma Clima of the Italian Baseball League in 2019 and 2020. In July 2019, he signed with the Philadelphia Phillies as an international free agent. [1] He made his professional debut in 2021 with the Rookie-level Florida Complex League Phillies before being promoted to the Low-A Clearwater Threshers. He was placed on the injured list with a left elbow injury on August 20 and missed the remainder of the season and a portion of the following season, which he spent exclusively in the Florida Complex League. Aldegheri returned to Clearwater for the start of the 2023 season before being promoted to the High-A Jersey Shore BlueClaws on August 3. [2] After the 2023 season ended, his control was ranked the best in the Phillies farm system by Baseball America. [2] Aldegheri returned to Jersey Shore for the start of the 2024 season. [3]

Andrew Fleming Baker (born March 24, 2000) is an American professional baseball pitcher in the Philadelphia Phillies organization.
Baker began his college baseball career at Chipola College. As a freshman, he made 26 appearances and finished the season with a 2–1 record with seven saves and a 5.04 ERA. Baker was also selected in the 16th round of the 2019 Major League Baseball Draft by the Los Angeles Dodgers, but opted not to sign and instead transferred to Auburn. [4] As a sophomore at Auburn he had 9.53 earned run average in 5.2 innings pitched over six relief appearances before the season was cut short due to the coronavirus pandemic. After the school year, Baker transferred back to Chipola College. He made 15 starts and went 7–2 with a 3.45 ERA and 92 strikeouts in 57+1⁄3 innings pitched. [5]
Baker was selected by the Philadelphia Phillies in the 11th round of the 2021 Major League Baseball Draft. Carlos De La Cruz (born October 6, 1999) is an American professional baseball outfielder in the Philadelphia Phillies organization.
De La Cruz was originally discovered by the Phillies scouting department in 2017 at the age of 17 playing for an amateur travel team in New York. [11] He would sign with the Phillies on August 23, 2017 for a bonus of $50,000 as an undrafted free agent before participating in the Florida Instructional League later in the year. [11]
De La Cruz made his professional debut in 2018 with the Rookie-level Gulf Coast League Phillies East of the Gulf Coast League. He finished the season with a .284 average and six home runs in 43 games. De La Cruz was promoted to the Lakewood BlueClaws of the Single–A South Atlantic League for the 2019 season. [12] He finished the season with a .220 average and seven home runs in 117 games. [12] De La Cruz did not play in a game in 2020 due to the cancellation of the Minor League Baseball season because of the COVID-19 pandemic. De La Cruz shuttled between the FCL Phillies, Jersey Shore BlueClaws, and Clearwater Threshers, playing in 63 total games and hitting .181. [12] De La Cruz started the 2022 season at Jersey Shore. After slashing .266/.344/.463 over 64 games, he was promoted to the Reading Fightin Phils of the Double-A Eastern League. Klassen Port Washington High School in Port Washington, Wisconsin and played college baseball at the University of Minnesota. [18] He missed his freshman year at Minnesota in 2021 after undergoing Tommy John Surgery. [19]
Klassen was selected by the Philadelphia Phillies in the sixth round of the 2023 Major League Baseball Draft. [20] He made his professional debut in 2024 with the Single-A Clearwater Threshers. On June 11, Klassen was promoted to the High-A Jersey Shore Blue Claws. [21]

Matthew James Kroon (born December 5, 1996) is an American baseball infielder in the Philadelphia Phillies organization.
The son of MLB player Marc Kroon, Matt grew up in Scottsdale, Arizona, and attended Horizon High School. [22] [23] He received two all-state selections there and batted .412 as a senior; Kroon was selected in the 38th round of the 2015 Major League Baseball draft by the Cincinnati Reds. [22] [24] Rather than sign with the Reds, Kroon played college baseball with the Oregon Ducks, batting .184 in 35 games with the team in his first year. [25] He transferred to Central Arizona College as a sophomore and posted 20 runs batted in (RBIs) and two home runs while batting .266 in 46 games for the school. [25]
Kroon was selected by the Philadelphia Phillies in the 30th round of the 2017 Major League Baseball draft, but remained in school, transferring a second time to the Oklahoma State Cowboys. [25] He played 57 games with the Cowboys and batted .300 with 11 home runs and 39 RBIs. [26]
Kroon was chosen in the 18th round of the 2018 Major League Baseball draft by the Phillies. [27] He played two years at the Rookie league and Class A levels, with the 2020 season being canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic, before being promoted to the Double-A Reading Fightin Phils in 2021. [28] He batted .301 and had five home runs along with 22 RBIs with the Fightin Phils in 2021, but tore his ACL early on in the 2022 season, resulting in him missing all but two games. [29] He returned in 2023 and played with teams at the High-A, Double-A and Triple-A levels, batting a combined .326, which included 11 home runs and 58 RBIs. Max Brandon Lazar (born June 3, 1999) is an American professional baseball pitcher in the Philadelphia Phillies organization.
Lazar played baseball in high school at Coral Springs High School in Coral Springs, Florida. [2] He was selected in 11th round by the Milwaukee Brewers in 2017 Major League Baseball draft. [2] Lazar made his professional debut for the Rookie-level Arizona League Brewers that year. [32] He would spend the 2018 season with the Helena Brewers of the Pioneer League, before being promoted to the Low-A Wisconsin Timber Rattlers for the start of the 2019 season. [32] Lazar sent most of the season with the Timber Rattlers, largely pitching in tandem with Reese Olson in the early part of the season [32] before a brief stint with the rookie level in June back with the AZL Brewers Gold. [2] He would finish the season with a 2.39 ERA over 19 appearances (10 starts) at the Low-A level. [2] Lazar was named a Low Class A All-Star by Baseball America following the season. [2]
Lazar did not play in a game in 2020 due to the cancellation of the Minor League Baseball season because of the COVID-19 pandemic, then missed the 2021 season due to recovery due to injury. [2] Returning to action in 2022, he started out the season with the Timber Rattlers, now at the High-A level. [2] Lazar was placed on the injured list on June 13 and spent the rest of the season under a rehab assignment with the ACL Brewers and Carolina Mudcats. [2] He spit the season starting and relieving, finishing with a 4.22 ERA in 11 appearances at Wisconsin. [2] After the season, Lazar played for the Brisbane Bandits of the Australian Baseball League. He returned to Wisconsin for the start of the 2023 season. Now exclusively a reliever, Lazar once again started out with Wisconsin in 2023, before being promoted to the Double-A Biloxi Shuckers on June 30. [2] Over the entire season, he finished with a 3.26 ERA across 33 outings between both levels. [33] Following the season, Lazar elected free agency. [33]

Griffin Thomas McGarry (born June 8, 1999) is an American professional baseball pitcher in the Philadelphia Phillies organization.
McGarry grew up in Portola Valley, California and attended the Menlo School in Atherton, California. [35] He was selected in 31st round by the Texas Rangers in 2017 Major League Baseball draft, but opted not to sign with the team. [36]
McGarry played college baseball at Virginia. He posted an 8.15 ERA in 11 appearances as a freshman. [37] Following the season, he played collegiate summer baseball with the Keene Swamp Bats of the New England Collegiate Baseball League. [38] McGarry was named the Cavaliers' opening day starter going into his sophomore season and went 3–5 with a 4.56 ERA. [39] After the 2019 season he played for the Hyannis Harbor Hawks in the Cape Cod Baseball League. [40] [41] As a junior, McGarry went 3–0 with a 1.35 ERA and 31 strikeouts in 20 innings pitched before the season was cut short due to the coronavirus pandemic. [42] As a senior, he struggled with his control at the start of the season and lost his spot in Virginia's starting rotation. [43] He regained form in the second half of the season after striking out eight batters in 3.1 innings against Old Dominion and finished the season with an 0–5 record with a 5.44 ERA, 69 strikeouts and 42 walks in 43 innings pitched. [42] [44] McGarry was selected by the Philadelphia Phillies in the 5th round of the 2021 Major League Baseball Draft. [45]
McGarry began his professional career with the Low-A Clearwater Threshers. He was promoted to the High-A Jersey Shore BlueClaws and finished the season with 1–0 record with one save and a 2.96 ERA and 43 strikeouts in 24+1⁄3 innings pitched. [46]

Mitchell Carl Neunborn (born June 27, 1997) is a South African professional baseball pitcher in the Philadelphia Phillies organization.
Neunborn played collegiately at North Iowa Area Community College during the 2017 season, playing shortstop while also pitching occasionally. [47] In 47 games, he hit .331 with 13 home runs. Neunborn also posted a 3.18 ERA over 5.2 innings across three pitching appearances with the Trojans. The following summer, he played for the Medford Rogues, batting .291 with 9 runs in 29 games. [48] Neunborn also made two appearances on the mound, posting a 4.50 ERA in two innings.
He made his professional debut with the Perth Heat of the Australian Baseball League during the 2019-20 ABL season, mostly appearing as a pitcher for the Heat. [49] Neunborn pitched to a 1.86 ERA over 9.2 innings across four appearances. Neunborn signed with the Adelaide Giants for the 2019-20 ABL season, during which he'd capture the league's rookie of the year award while pitching to a 1.75 ERA over five starts of 25.2 total innings. [50] During the cancelled 2021-22 ABL season, he pitched for the West Torrens Eagles, pitching to a 0.19 ERA with the club en route to a championship. Returning to Adelaide for the 2022-23 ABL season, Neunborn was one of the league's best relief pitchers, registering a 2.25 ERA in 28 innings across 13 appearances. Following the season, Neunborn signed with the Québec Capitales of the Frontier League. He would also be named to the Australia national baseball team's roster for the 2023 World Baseball Classic the following month. [51]

Gabriel Alejandro Rincones Jr. (born March 3, 2001) is an American professional baseball outfielder in the Philadelphia Phillies organization.
Rincones was born in Boynton Beach, Florida to Venezuelan parents and his family moved to Venezuela shortly after he was born. His family relocated to Scotland when he was six years old after his father was hired as an offshore safety advisor in the oil industry. [53] Rincones moved back to Venezuela at age 12 to play baseball and lived with an aunt before moving to live with another aunt in Tampa, Florida. [54]
Rincones played junior college baseball at St. Petersburg College. As a freshman, he batted .432 with 11 doubles, four home runs and 28 RBIs. Rincones was named the Florida State College Activities Association (FCSAA) Player of the Year after hitting for a .415 average with 19 doubles, six home runs, and 43 RBIs during his sophomore season. He also committed to transfer to Florida Atlantic University (FAU) for his remaining eligibility. [55] Rincones drafted by the San Diego Padres in the 19th round of the 2021 Major League Baseball draft, but opted not to sign with the team. [56] In his only season playing for the FAU Owls, Rincones batted .346 with 19 home runs and 69 RBIs and was named the Conference USA Newcomer of the Year. [57]

Max Brandon Lazar (born June 3, 1999) is an American professional baseball pitcher in the Philadelphia Phillies organization.
Lazar played baseball in high school at Coral Springs High School in Coral Springs, Florida. [2] He was selected in 11th round by the Milwaukee Brewers in 2017 Major League Baseball draft. [2] Lazar made his professional debut for the Rookie-level Arizona League Brewers that year. [32] He would spend the 2018 season with the Helena Brewers of the Pioneer League, before being promoted to the Low-A Wisconsin Timber Rattlers for the start of the 2019 season. [32] Lazar sent most of the season with the Timber Rattlers, largely pitching in tandem with Reese Olson in the early part of the season [32] before a brief stint with the rookie level in June back with the AZL Brewers Gold. [2] He would finish the season with a 2.39 ERA over 19 appearances (10 starts) at the Low-A level. [2] Lazar was named a Low Class A All-Star by Baseball America following the season. [2]
Lazar did not play in a game in 2020 due to the cancellation of the Minor League Baseball season because of the COVID-19 pandemic, then missed the 2021 season due to recovery due to injury. Griffin Thomas McGarry (born June 8, 1999) is an American professional baseball pitcher in the Philadelphia Phillies organization.
McGarry grew up in Portola Valley, California and attended the Menlo School in Atherton, California. [35] He was selected in 31st round by the Texas Rangers in 2017 Major League Baseball draft, but opted not to sign with the team. [36]
McGarry played college baseball at Virginia. He posted an 8.15 ERA in 11 appearances as a freshman. [37] Following the season, he played collegiate summer baseball with the Keene Swamp Bats of the New England Collegiate Baseball League. [38] McGarry was named the Cavaliers' opening day starter going into his sophomore season and went 3–5 with a 4.56 ERA. [39] After the 2019 season he played for the Hyannis Harbor Hawks in the Cape Cod Baseball League. [40] [41] As a junior, McGarry went 3–0 with a 1.35 ERA and 31 strikeouts in 20 innings pitched before the season was cut short due to the coronavirus pandemic. [42] As a senior, he struggled with his control at the start of the season and lost his spot in Virginia's starting rotation. [43] He regained form in the second half of the season after striking out eight batters in 3.1 innings against Old Dominion and finished the season with an 0–5 record with a 5.44 ERA, 69 strikeouts and 42 walks in 43 innings pitched. Mitchell Carl Neunborn (born June 27, 1997) is a South African professional baseball pitcher in the Philadelphia Phillies organization.
Neunborn played collegiately at North Iowa Area Community College during the 2017 season, playing shortstop while also pitching occasionally. [47] In 47 games, he hit .331 with 13 home runs. Neunborn also posted a 3.18 ERA over 5.2 innings across three pitching appearances with the Trojans. The following summer, he played for the Medford Rogues, batting .291 with 9 runs in 29 games. [48] Neunborn also made two appearances on the mound, posting a 4.50 ERA in two innings.
He made his professional debut with the Perth Heat of the Australian Baseball League during the 2019-20 ABL season, mostly appearing as a pitcher for the Heat. [49] Neunborn pitched to a 1.86 ERA over 9.2 innings across four appearances. Neunborn signed with the Adelaide Giants for the 2019-20 ABL season, during which he'd capture the league's rookie of the year award while pitching to a 1.75 ERA over five starts of 25.2 total innings. [50] During the cancelled 2021-22 ABL season, he pitched for the West Torrens Eagles, pitching to a 0.19 ERA with the club en route to a championship. Returning to Adelaide for the 2022-23 ABL season, Neunborn was one of the league's best relief pitchers, registering a 2.25 ERA in 28 innings across 13 appearances. Following the season, Neunborn signed with the Québec Capitales of the Frontier League. He would also be named to the Australia national baseball team's roster for the 2023 World Baseball Classic the following month. [51]
On March 29, 2023, prior to the start of the 2023 Frontier League season, Neunborn's contract was purchased by the Philadelphia Phillies from the Capitales. [52] He spent the 2023 season with the High-A Jersey Shore Blue Claws, earning a pitcher of the week nod and later playing in the Arizona Fall League. Gabriel Alejandro Rincones Jr. (born March 3, 2001) is an American professional baseball outfielder in the Philadelphia Phillies organization.
Rincones was born in Boynton Beach, Florida to Venezuelan parents and his family moved to Venezuela shortly after he was born. His family relocated to Scotland when he was six years old after his father was hired as an offshore safety advisor in the oil industry. [53] Rincones moved back to Venezuela at age 12 to play baseball and lived with an aunt before moving to live with another aunt in Tampa, Florida. [54]
Rincones played junior college baseball at St. Petersburg College. As a freshman, he batted .432 with 11 doubles, four home runs and 28 RBIs. Rincones was named the Florida State College Activities Association (FCSAA) Player of the Year after hitting for a .415 average with 19 doubles, six home runs, and 43 RBIs during his sophomore season. He also committed to transfer to Florida Atlantic University (FAU) for his remaining eligibility. [55] Rincones drafted by the San Diego Padres in the 19th round of the 2021 Major League Baseball draft, but opted not to sign with the team. [56] In his only season playing for the FAU Owls, Rincones batted .346 with 19 home runs and 69 RBIs and was named the Conference USA Newcomer of the Year. [57]
Rincones was selected in the third round of the 2022 Major League Baseball draft by the Philadelphia Phillies. [58] He would make his professional debut in 2023 for the Single-A Clearwater Threshers, before being promoted to the High-A Jersey Shore BlueClaws on June 12. He posted a .300/.417/.600 slash line across 60 plate appearances with the team before landing on the injured list due a right thumb ligament tear on April 24. [59]
